Rookie Clinic Saturday - 4:00PM - At Race Site

Distances:

  • Triathlon - 0.5 mi swim, 13 mile bike, 4 mile run
  • Duathlon – 2.4 mile run, 13 mile bike, 4 mile run

Course:  course maps

  • Swim: Counter-clockwise swim with wave starts
  • Bike: loop course on rolling, rural paved roads
  • Run: out and back, flat and fast
  • Du first run: flat with paved and some packed gravel roads

Where: Clark Lake Beach and Boat Club, 5100 Grand Blvd, Clark Lake, MI 49234. Clark Lake Michigan is Northwest of Adrian, MI and south of Jackson, MI.

URGENT I MPORTANCE:  Pets are NOT allowed at the Clark Lake Beach and Boat Club.  Please, no pets.

Entry Fees: includes - t-shirt, goodie bag, immediate post race recovery food and drinks, chip timing, immediateresults, post race lunch, and USAT officials.

USAT Licenses: A current USAT license and PHOTO ID must be shown to pick up your race packet if you have paid the rate for USAT members. Click here to buy an annual USAT Membership
Packet Pick-Up: Sunday, July 20, 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. (NO race day registration)
Divisions:

  • Individuals: - Females & Males: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
  • Clydesdales - Males 200 lbs+ Two divisions:  Open (39 and under) and Masters (40 and over) Clydesdales weigh-in: A scale will be at the packet pick-up area .... you are on your honor .... weigh-in and write your weight down on the weigh-in form.
  • Relays - Two or three person teams

Awards:

  • Triathlon - Top male and female, at least top 5 in age groups, and top three clydesdales.
  • Duathlon - Top male and female, at least top 5 in age groups.
  • Relays – Three Deep

Benefits: Partial proceeds from this event will be donated to the GT Foundation: Glanzmann’s Thrombasthenia      a rare blood disorder effecting girls and boys alike.  www.glanzmanns.com  Read the stories of several teens and adult who are able to participate in Triathlon.

Directions: Clark Lake, MI is located in the Irish Hills, between Adrian and Jackson, off of HWY 127.

  • From the North:  Follow 127 S to Reed Rd.  Turn LEFT onto Reed Rd, follow Reed to Clark Lake RD.  Bear Right toward Consumers Dr. then LEFT onto Grand Blvd.
  • From the South:  Follow US 23 to I 94.  Take I 94 to 127 N.   Turn RIGHT onto Reed Rd, follow Reed to Clark Lake RD.  Bear Right toward Consumers Dr. then LEFT onto Grand Blvd.
  • From the East/Detroit:  Follow I 94 W to 127 S.  Turn LEFT onto Reed Rd, follow Reed to Clark Lake RD.  Bear Right toward Consumers Dr. then LEFT onto Grand Blvd
  • From the West/Chicago: Follow I 94 E to 127 S. .  Turn RIGHT onto Reed Rd, follow Reed to Clark Lake RD.  Bear Right toward Consumers Dr. then LEFT onto Grand Blvd

Transfer policy: If a transfer is necessary, you MUST contact Elite Endeavors by email at least 72 hours prior to the event (Wednesday evening). There will be a $15 fee charged for any transfer. Transfer must take place within a year.
