Distances:

  • Duathlon – 4 mile run, 15 mile bike, 4 mile run

Course:

  • Run: Begins on the Grosse Ile Municipal Airport Runway, and on the surrounding park grounds MAP
  • Bike: loop course on paved roads, with spectacular views of the Detroit River and Canada  MAP
  • Run:  Loops on the Grosse Ile Municipal Airport and surrounding park grounds
  • CLOSED RUN COURSE:. no vehicular traffic.

Packet Pick-Up: Saturday, May 15, 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. (NO race day registration)

Divisions: Females & Males: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
Relay Divisions: Male, female, mixed

Awards:

  • Duathlon - Overall male and female,  top 3 in age groups.
  • Relay Teams - First place only

Location:  Grosse Ile is an island, located SE of Trenton, MI.

Directions:  I 75 (north or south) to Exit 29, 29a/b:  Gibralter Rd.  Follow Gibralter Rd East, to Fort St. (85) turning left onto Fort St.  Follow Fort St to Van Horn.  Right onto Van Horn.  Van Horn ends at W. Jefferson.  The Grosse Ile Parkway Free Bridge is just ahead on the left.  Cross the Grosse Ile Parkway Free Bridge, turning Right onto Meridian Rd.  Take Meridian to the end, turn right onto Groh Rd, and you are there.

Transfer policy: If a transfer is necessary, you MUST contact Elite Endeavors by email at least 72 hours prior to the event (Wednesday evening). There will be a $15 fee charged for any transfer. Transfer must take place within a year.
