XTERRA MIDWEST CUP
This longer XTERRA championship race is comprised of a 1000M two lap swim, 20 mile mountain bike and a 6 mile trail run. You may race as an individual or on a relay team - start list (as of noon May 11)
XTERRA Sport Race - Triathlon only (Duathlon canceled)
The shorter distance race, called XTERRA Sport is also an awesome event! The course consists of a 500 M one lap swim, a 10 mile mountain bike, and 3 mile trail run - start list (as of noon May 11)

Distances:
1. XTERRA MIDWEST CUP CHAMPIONSHIP:
Professionals and Amateurs TRIATHLON Only Distance:
- 1000M swim, two laps
- 20 mi off road bike, two laps

Course:
- SW MI Eye Center Swim Course: clockwise rectangle in Eagle Lake
- Team Active’s gnarly Bike Course: loop course on rolling trails, using the Red and Blue Trails
- Battle Creek Visitors Bureau Run Course: a loop on the Green
- BiCi Bistro Aid Stations: Two aid stations on the run and one in the transition.

NEW FOR 2009! SHIP YOUR BIKE TO TEAM ACTIVE! Team Active, a sponsor of our great XTERRA MIDWEST CUP will accept your bike by shipment, to either assemble them (for a small fee) or just store them for you. Team Active has a 24/7 secure storage area in their business, so your equipment will be completely monitored at all times. Shipping materials can also be left and stored with them, as well as a repack again for a nominal fee.
NEED A WESUIT FOR A RACE: You can rent an XTERRA wetsuit. more info ...
Park Permits: A State Park permit is needed to enter Ft. Custer. A one-day permit can be purchased Saturday at race registration or Sunday at the park entrance. The one-day permit is $6.00 for residents of Michigan and $8.00 for out of state people. Parking permit info

Divisions:
- Age Group Females and Males: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-59, 80+
- PROFESSIONAL: One must carry an Elite license from USAT or National Federation to compete in Pro division. Pro/Elite division Midwest Cup longer distance only.
- RELAY DIVISION: Two or Three person teams LONGER DISTANCE EVENT ONLY: Male, Female, Co-Ed or Corporate
Awards: Overall male and female and 3 deep in every division
