Distances:
- Triathlon - 0.5 mili swim, 16 mile bike, 5 mile run
- Duathlon - 2 mile run, 16 mile bike, 5 mile run
Course:
- Swim: clockwise loop in Portage Lake with wave starts
- Bike: loop course on rolling paved roads course map
- Run: rolling hills, partly on trails course map
- Du first run: mixed trail and roads within the park, bike and second run same as tri
Where: Portage Lake Beach, Waterloo Recreation Area, near Grass Lake, MI - off Seymour Road (for purposes of mapquest use 11500 Seymour Rd, Grass Lake, MI 49240)
Park Info: A State Park permit is needed to enter Waterloo Recreation Area. A one-day permit can be purchased Sunday at the park entrance. The one-day permit is $6.00 for residence of Michigan and $8.00 for out of state people. Parking permit info
Entry Fees: includes - t-shirt, goodie bag, unique venue, immediate post race recovery food and drinks, chip timing, immediate results, and a post race lunch (beginning at 10:15 through the awards ceremony), USAT officials, Volunteers monitoring the bike course are from the host triathlon club - Jackson Multisport Triathlon Club and monitoring the run course from the Chelsea High School track teams.

Packet Pick-Up: Sunday, July 13, 6:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. (NO race day registration)
Divisions:
- Individuals: - Females & Males: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
- Clydesdales - Males 200 lbs+; Age Groups for clydesdales: Open (39 and under) and Masters (40 and over) Clydesdales weigh-in: A scale will be at the packet pick-up area .... you are on your honor .... weigh-in and write your weight down on the weigh-in form.
Awards:
- Triathlon - Top male and female, top masters male and female, at least top 5 in age groups, and top three clydesdales.
- Duathlon - Top male and female, top masters male and female, at least top 5 in age groups, and top three clydesdales.
Medical Services are provided by Robert Kiningham, MD, FACSM, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, UM Dept. of Family Medicine.
Benefits: Partial proceeds from the events will be donated to Chelsea High School track and cross country teams and the GT Foundation.
Directions: Take I-94 to exit 150 (Mt. Hope Rd). Turn north on Mt. Hope Road, go 2.4 miles north to stop sign at Seymour Road. Turn left (west) on Seymour Road, go 1.6 miles. Portage Lake State Park is on the right hand side (north side).

Transfer policy: If a transfer is necessary, you MUST contact Elite Endeavors by email at least 72 hours prior to the event (Wednesday evening). There will be a $15 fee charged for any transfer. Transfer must take place within a year.
